If you have five days to explore both Kibale Forest National Park and other wildlife areas in Uganda, here is the suggested itinerary for you. The tour takes you to one of the renown safari destinations for chimpanzee trekking, the Kibale forest national park, the park offers unique chimpanzee trekking and also an opportunity to spot other primate species including; the black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, different bird species and other wild animals seen in the forest. you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for great wildlife safaris, queen is famous for the Tree climbing lions of Ishasha sector among other different wildlife including the lions, elephants, buffalos, Uganda Kob among others seen during the game drives. you will also do a boat cruise at the Kazinga channel where you see various mammals, and different bird species on the shores of the lake.

Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

Start your day early and embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours.
Arrive at Kibale Forest National Park check-in at your chosen accommodation. Take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking In The Kibale Forest

Begin your day with an exciting chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest National Park. Follow the guidance provided in the previous itinerary for Day 2.
Afternoon activity: In the afternoon, you can explore other areas of Kibale Forest National Park or visit nearby attractions like Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Choose from options such as guided nature walks, birdwatching, or cultural visits.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Leave Kibale Forest National Park and travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours.
Game drive: Once you arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, embark on a thrilling game drive. Queen Elizabeth is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, hippos, and various antelope species.
Boat cruise: In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is a hotspot for hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.

Day 4: Morning game drive In Ishasha Sector

Start your day with another game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to maximize your chances of spotting wildlife that you might have missed the previous day.
Ishasha sector: In the afternoon, visit the Ishasha sector of the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. You can search for these unique lions lounging in the fig trees.

Day 5: Departure

After exploring the wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park, begin your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala for your departure flight. On arrival, the driver will drop you off at the airport or at your proffered location.
